Music teaching opportunities

If you love teaching music and you're willing to either travel to students or teach from your own studio, let's talk!

The majority of our requests come from the Camano Island / Stanwood area, but we're actively expanding into Everett and Marysville as well, and welcome inquiries from anywhere in Western Washington.

This opportunity is for teachers who already run their own independent teaching business — your own studio, existing private students, or both. We're not hiring employees; we partner with independent teachers and send referred students your way while you keep running your business exactly as you do now.

Here's what we are looking for in a teacher:

• Already teaching independently, with your own studio and/or existing students
• Able to teach beginning, intermediate, or advanced piano, voice, guitar, or other instruments
• Enjoys teaching and desires to make learning music fun
• Owns a studio or is willing to travel to students
• Willing to learn how to teach online if necessary
• Understands music theory
• Can teach simple chording

As an independent contractor, you would set your own rates. We recommend starting at $140–$150/month per student for weekly 30-minute lessons, which has proven to be an acceptable rate for the Stanwood/Camano region. Your take-home pay would be 70%.
